Buhari’s Anti-Graft War In Jeopardy


Renowned lawyer and human rights activist, Femi Falana (SAN), ‎Thursday warned that the current anti-graft campaign by President Muhammadu Buhari may become effort in futility after all.
Falana said Nigeria’s criminal justice system ‎had already been hijacked by looters of the treasury and their lawyers with the alleged intention to frustrate the anti-corruption war.
He spoke at the special congress and public lecture organised by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye chapter.
Falana, who was guest speaker‎ at the event which also had the ASUU President, Isa Fagge, in attendance, called for urgent review of the nation’s criminal justice system to make it more effective in fighting corruption.
