BREAKING: Benin Monarch, Oba Erediauwa, Passes On

The Oba of Benin Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Omo n’Oba n’Edo Uku Akpolopkolo Erediauwa, h‎as passed on.

The passing away of the monarch was announced by the Iyase of Benin Kingdom, Chief Sam Igbe, on Fridayafternoon.

A native chalk was broken within the palace to signify his passage to join his ancestors.
