The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed four of its governors to head its special committees that will prepare for the May 21 National Convention of the party.
A statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Chief Olisa Metuh on Sunday, said Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike will head the National Convention Committee while his Bayelsa State counterpart, Seriake Dickson heads the Reconciliation Committee.
The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Emmanuel Udom is the Chairman of the Zoning Committee while the Finance Committee will be headed by Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe State.
The four committees will be inaugurated on Tuesday by the National Chairman, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff.
