Two children, Kaosisochukwu Ezekwem (7) and Chukwuemeka Agbo (11) were at the weekend saved from being drowned inside a well at Hilltop Road, Abakaliki Ebonyi State.
The children, who live at Umunya Street along the Hilltop Road, had attended a church programme and were returning home when the incident occurred.
On their way home, they were playing when Kaosisochukwu saw an uncovered well and went very close to it.
She then called on Chukwuemeka to come and catch a glimpse of the well. As she was watching the well waiting for Chukwuemeka, she slipped and fell into it.
