UEFA League: Benzema A Doubt For City Return

Karim Benzema is rated as doubtful for Real Madrid’s Champions League semi-final second leg with Manchester City. ‎

Madrid have confirmed a hamstring injury for the striker, who played only the first half of Tuesday first leg goalless draw before he was forced off.

‘AS’ reports Benzema will ‘work around the clock’ in an effort to be fit but of perhaps greater concern is that this is the 26th muscle injury to afflict Los Blancos this season, Benzema’s third in the same area.
There’s been no medical update from the club on Cristiano Ronaldo since April 22, despite the Portugal captain having been described as ‘100%’ prior to City by Zinedine Zidane, then fail to even make the bench after a fitness test.

  1. The first leg of Uefa Champions League 2016 was finished, and only Atletico Madrid scored 1 goal against Bayern Munchen, because between Man City and Real Madrid, the score was 0-0. So, we hope that in the next round we can see more than 1 goal on each match.
