Bobrisky Wants To Use Me To Get attention – Denrele
Bobrisky and Denrele are alike somehow- they are both weird dressers.
But it seems both guys are not friends.
Earlier in the week, Bobrisky and Denrele were hot topic among Nigerians who had fun time comparing the two guys on social media.
Bobrisky had claimed on his twitter handle that his lover ‘dashed’ him N7m on his birthday and many fans and foes used that opportunity to mock Denrele and ask him why nobody has yet to give him such money.
In a chat with Saturday Beats, Denrele opened up on his relationship with Bobrisky claiming he had seen him just once. “I heard something about Bobrisky saying that Denrele is poor, that he has a Lexus and a Benz and I have nothing. I thought it was funny when I heard it but I did not reply. Such people are looking for followers. I don’t respond to those things.
“It is normal for people to tend to compare us because we have a certain way of dressing that is totally different from what everybody knows. Of course they would try to compare and contrast. The kind of job that I do allows me to meet all kinds of people. If somebody gives me N10m, I would not open my mouth to tell anybody because the person that gave me the money would not want me to say it. I do not have to prove anything to anybody.
“I have been with this brand identity for a very long time and if someone is stealing my style, it means the person is not original. If you are doing it your own way, then you are original. We are two different people and from the pictures I have seen, I noticed he uses a lot of heavy make-up, I use only powder and that is because I am on the television. Also, he is a lot lighter than I am. We have met once and we do not have any beef. When we met, the first thing I asked him about his lashes because he wore very nice eye lashes and I love eye lashes. I told him his lashes were nice and he even told me where he did it and how much it cost. I have heard a lot of things that he said about me which are not so nice. Maybe it is to get my attention,” he said.

I'll Divorce My Wife If She Tries To Change Me - Denrele
He said,
“At a point, it began to look as if I fabricated the story to be in the news but it was the real deal for me. I am trying to pursue the matter but I am not going to say when it would happen. When it is time, people would get the invite but I would not blab. I am going to get married in Nigeria because I have realised over time that I am loved by all. I would not do a strictly VIP crowd because I would invite everybody who is interested in coming, they should come and watch me get married.”
Although he did not mention his fiancée’s name, the weird one said his woman is not in the entertainment industry.
“My fiancée is not in the entertainment industry. She used to be in the industry but quit because she could not come to terms with the industry so she decided to do a regular 9-5 job. Relationship is all about communication, if anyone tries to change who I am, I would send the person back to her family house and collect my bride price back. It cannot happen because at the end of the day, we would be hungry at home and start looking at ourselves. Marriage would not change me. I know that there is that factor of staying true to one person which I am working on. I am getting there,” he said.

Denrele 'Fights' Ebuka: Lip Sync Battle Africa
The reality contest Lip Sync Battle Africa is pitching friends together in an epic fight that only the better can win. Surprisingly, Denrele and Ebuka are going to fight in this lip sync battle and the two of them cannot wait to start.
The show hosted by South African actress and TV presenter Pearl Thusi alongside Nigerian superstar and “Koko Master” D’Banj will be watching as Africans come out to show how good they during lip synching. The contestants mimic to two songs of their choice. It is only one of them that will lift the Lip Sync Battle trophy and earn the biggest bragging rights on the planet as the inaugural Lip Sync Battle champion.
Denrele has raised his voice to this fight, “I am going to have a lot of fun on Lip Sync Battle Africa. This is precisely the sort of thing I like to do ordinarily and I will feel right at home on that stage! My fans can expect to see Denrele at his crazy, quirky best and I think that will make the show very watchable. Too bad for Ebuka that he is coming up against me!”
Ebuka just have this to say, “Lip Sync Battle Africa is a bit left field for me, but I look forward to having fun on the programme. I promise everyone a fantastic time and my fans will get to see a side of me that they have never seen before, and possibly a side of me that even I never knew existed.
