Casillas To Stay In Porto
Spain goalkeeper Iker Casillas has dismissed suggestions he will leave Porto to play in the MLS.
Casillas ended his lengthy association with boyhood club Real Madrid last summer when he made the move to Porto.
Despite the fact he only switched clubs last summer, he has been tipped to play in the MLS, although he insists he will be spending the next two years in Portugal.
“I am not going to New York. I have the idea of fulfilling contracts and Porto wanted to prolong it. Until 2018, with almost complete certainty, I will be playing at Porto,” the 34-year-old is quoted as saying in Sport.
