OAP Last Prophet In Trouble For Mentioning Iyanya's Issue With Ubi On Air

Last week, Iyanya announced that he had signed a new management which most people are still asking if there was something fishy about the movement.

He had an interview with FM Calabar’s OAP Last Prophet but things never went down well with this interview.

In a leaked telephone conversation , the singer is ready to pull down walls because of what Last Prophet said.

Last Prophet jokingly said “if Iyanya was planning to return back to Calabar where he started from’. But Iyanya was not happy with that and he made a telephone call that has been leaked.‘I don’t depend on my strive (sic), but i depend on God to take me further, this is Iyanya speaking, brother let this be the first and the last time that you will make that kind of statement that you made about me on your show. I have never had any issue with you, don’t ever in your whole life mention my issue with Ubi on your show. I’ve had different people call me to make that report, the next time you do I’ll show you another side of me’.

The comedian narrated his ordeal ‘I Was Shocked At Iyanya’s Phone Call. I’m A Comedian And OAP, My Show Is A Comedy Show In Pidgin English. All I Did Was Make Jokes From The Situation, Which Is What Anyone Else Would Have Done. I Only Feel Bad Because I’m Sure He Would Not Do That To Any OAP In Lagos; He Did It To Me Because He Feels I’m In Calabar And He Can Just Threaten Me Like That.

Ubi Franklin Addresses Iyanya's Decision To Float His Own Record Label

Following Iyanya's announcement about floating his own record label ,there have been speculations all is not well with him and his manager and partner,Ubi Franklin .Ubi has addressed the rumours ..He wrote
Recently there’s been a lot said in the media about Iyanya leaving Made Men Music, I’d like to clarify things.
Iyanya had approached me about a year ago and notified me of his intentions to start up a label.

He wanted my blessings to do so and I told him it was a welcome development. I assured him of my support to help structure his planned label with the existing company (Made Men Music Group) whenever he was ready and the process was initiated.

Two weeks ago he shared with me, news that the company had been duly registered and was ready to commence operations. I was also privy to the information that he had identified a few artistes with potential he wants to nurture. This done, I knew the label was ready to kick off.

I understand his post piqued the curiosity of the public and blogs made what they could of the news.

Yes, Iyanya is starting a new label which will be a company out of Made Men Music with a different structure and a different focus, aiming at growing our industry.

I would like to state here that like every other label we all have our internal issues from time to time.
We have shared happy and sad moments and it’s only fair to grow each other in every way possible. Not every move means a breakup.

As you know we still stand this way.
