Boy Burns To Death After People Refused to Help Him For Stealing Copper Wire

After an explosive blast in Witbank suburbs in north-western Mpumalanga Province, a teen appeared smoking and shouting for help as he climbed out of the Botha substation.
According to the reports, the unidentified young man is from Witbank. The blast from the Botha substation was due to the boy’s copper wire stealing attempt that leads to his burning.

His whole body was severely burned, but what’s more terrifying is the refusal of heartless locals to help him. Adding insult to his injuries.

The young man begged for help to call an ambulance as he was in agony from the burn. Locals and passers-by refuse to help him, and he was heartlessly told to walk to get to the hospital as he was the one who brought this to himself.

Despite begging, crying and shouting ‘I am burning, I am dying and it is so painful, please get an ambulance,’ this young man in excruciating pain walked 500 meters to a nearby clinic where an ambulance was called.

Because of the severe injuries he sustained from the blast, the boy died the same day.

People around that time even mocked him saying “What were you doing? You brought this on yourself, what were you doing in the substation?” The boy’s life could have been saved if someone chose to help him than blame him for what happened.
