Chloe Bennet, 23, is not shy about her hopes and dreams for her 53-year-old co-star, Clark Gregg, and his character on their hit television show, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. In a new interview withHollywoodLife.com‘s sister site TVLine, the star of the show reveals what she really wants to see happen on the show’s third season.
Now that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is back in action with a brand new season, the cast has revealed their excitement over the new villain in town, Rosalind Price, who is portrayed by actress Constance Zimmer. In fact, while talking to TVLine about the new season, Chloe Bennet revealed she has high hopes for Rosalind and Coulson to hook up!
“I’m really excited for Coulson to finally get laid,” the actress shared. “I mean, hopefully.”
So, does that mean Rosalind and Coulson are destined for an on-screen romance? Chloe definitely thinks so!
“There’s suddenly another group aligned with the government called the Alien Threat Containment Unit, run by a formidable woman named Rosalind Price, played by the even more formidable Constance Zimmer, who we’re crazy about. They’re going at it, nose to nose. They don’t see eye to eye right of the gate. They’re don’t trust each other very much. They have serious trust issues,” Clark Gregg explained, discussing the dynamic between Coulson and Rosalind.
“But I think it’s going to end up being a little sexy relationship,” Chloe chimed in, revealing the ending she’s obviously rooting for. We’re with you, Chloe!
Even better? Clark is totally into the idea. “Your mouth to Odin’s ears, my friend,” he joked.
