The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, has described the administration of Governor Abiola Ajimobi in the state as that which has not disappointed the people.
The monarch gave the complimentary remark on Saturday evening during the grand finale of the week-long ‘Oranyan Festival’ that took place at his palace in Oyo town as part of the 2015 celebration of the cultural festival.
The monarch, who confirmed that he worked for the second term victory of the governor with the support of the four local government councils in his town, coupled with that of nine local councils from the Oke Ogun zone, prayed that the people of Oyo State should enjoy more of dividends of democracy from the Ajimobi administration.
Present to witness the grand finale of the 4th Oranyan festival was the Deputy Governor Chief Moses Adeyemo, who represented Ajimobi and dignitaries from the various parts of Nigeria, as well as from Republic of Benin, the United States of America, among others.
