Blake Lively is a huge Taylor Swift fan! Although some Swifties got nervous that the former ‘Gossip Girl’ star was throwing shade at Tay by making a ‘Bad Blood’ reference on Instagram, Blake insists it’s all love, and made a whole separate post praising the pop star.
Okay, this is a friendship we can totally get on-board with! Blake Lively, 28, is totally “obsessed” with Taylor Swift, 25, and wrote an entire post on Instagram gushing about her. And she wants to make it very clear — she was not dissing the “Style” singer when she joked that she was forming a “Bad Blood” squad of her own.
It all began when Blake posted a photo from a shoot she did with L’Oreal, which featured John Legend amongst a slew of ladies, including herself and Taylor’s bestie, Karlie Kloss, and she joked in the caption that they could be their own squad.
“….soooo, turns out this WASN’T a video shoot for John Legend’s cover of Bad Blood,” she wrote, with a laughing and winking emoji. “@lorealparisofficial blew it out for this one. My #pinkobsession is exposed now. Ok your turn. I won’t tell! #AlsoTurnsOutJohnLegendIsntCoveringBadBlood Time to start a petition.”
The whole thing seemed all in good fun to us, but apparently some of Taylor’s fans took offense, and Blake made sure to clear her name, proving just how much she loves the 25-year-old. “Umm whoever thought I was throwin shade clearly doesn’t know I have a “Taylor Swift Please Be My Wife Voo Doo Doll,” she captioned a photo of her young niece with Taylor on Instagram. “#obsessed. Look how rad she is here making my niece Heather feel like a rock star. Love my Canadian family almost as much as I love Taylor Liely. I mean Swift. Ok, FIIINE, we can hyphenate our last names. Xo Blake Swift-Lively 4eva.”
LOL, uh-oh, Ryan Reynolds might want to watch out! But, seriously, Taylor and Blake?! That would be the ULTIMATE #friendshipgoals, so we really hope Tay Tay gets wind of this and invites the actress to join her squad!
