Selena Gomez, 23, and Justin Bieber, 21, broke up nearly a year ago, but they still have so much respect for one another, especially in a professional sense. JB’s new single, “What Do You Mean?” is currently setting the charts ablaze, and it even became Justin’s first ever #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. While Beliebers worldwide could not be less surprised at Justin’s huge comeback, DGossip247 has learned that there’s one person who’s even less shocked at his success: Selena!
“She has heard the song and definitely likes it,” a source told us about Selena’s thoughts on “WDYM?” “She is happy for him, but is not surprised [at the song’s success] because she knows he is super talented so she only expects good music from him.”
Well, can’t say we disagree with that! It’s a good thing that Selena likes “What Do You Mean?”– because she might low-key be a part of the video! At one point during the very steamy music vid, the word “Selena” is seen, very clearly written in graffiti. While Justin himself denies putting his ex’s name in there, saying, “That wasn’t me who did that,” he doesn’t deny the word’s existence!
Interestingly, the words “love” and “hope” are also on display near Selena’s name– just pointing out the facts, people! Along with discussing the mysterious “Selena” stamp, in that same interview, Justin discussed his relationship status, saying he is as single as ever, all because he’s still mending his broken heart! “The thing is, I’m a relationship type of guy,” he told Kyle & Jackie O on Australia’s KIIS 106.5 radio station. “I love being in love and I love cuddling, I love all that stuff. But I got my heart broken, so I’m just trying to let that heal up.”
Well, whether or not Selena and Justin ever happens again, at least we know the two still care about each other deeply, and that’s enough to keep our little Jelena-loving hearts aflutter
