Kanye West eyes Obama’s seat

Kanye West’s plan to run for president in 2020 did not go unheard by the White House. Press Secretary Josh Earnest actually responded to the rapper’s bid to become the President of the United States. The possibility of Kanye West, 38, running for presidency in 2020 is all anyone could talk about after the MTV Video Music Awards. Since the rapper’s announcement was highly talked about, it’s no surprise word of Kanye’s plan reached the White House.
Upon hearing the news, Press Secretary Josh Earnest, 38, responded to Yeezy’s bid. While travelling aboard Air Force One with President Barack Obama, 54, to Alaska, the press secretary was asked what he thought of Kanye’s bid to run for presidency in 2020.

His response? Josh said he’s actually looking “forward to seeing what slogan he chooses to embroider on his campaign hat,” reports AP. Looks like Kim Kardashian, 34, isn’t the only one looking forward to Kanye’s presidential run! Kanye’s wife is ready to support her husband with his future goals of becoming the President of the United States.

“She t h i n k s Kanye is what the country needs,” an insider toldHollywood- Life.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He was not joking when he said he’s going to run in 2020, and Kim is behind him 110%. She thought his acceptance speech was ‘epic.’”

If Kim thought Kanye’s speech was epic, wait until she hears the album he’s planning on recording in preparation for his presidential campaign in 2020. Though 2020 is half a decade from now, Kanye is starting to plan out his campaign, starting with the music.

“Kanye’s seriously considering campaigning right now and one of the ways he’s thinking about doing it is to get his message to the people through his music,” a source EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com.

“He’d love to re-write the U.S. Constitution and make it rhyme and flow so that people could dance to the music and also retain the words and the meaning of the constitution — just like they know all the words to any one of his hit songs.” We all know Kanye is serious about running for president, so it wouldn’t be surprising if the rapper hit the studio immediately after the VMAs.
