Kim Kardashian was in the same shocked state as the rest of the world during the MTV VMAs when her hubby Kanye West announced he would be running for president. Watch her hysterical reaction on ‘Ellen’ right here!
“That was news to me,” Kim Kardashian West told Ellen DeGeneres during their interviewing airing on Sept. 30 when it came to Kanye West‘s VMA speech on Aug. 30, when he announced he would be running for office in 2020. “That’s a big thing not to talk to your wife about,” Kim admitted. With the amount that Kanye talks, we’re shocked he didn’t tell her ahead of time!
“That was news to me,” Kim admitted to Ellen, adding that yes, Kanye is serious about running for President. ”
She also said she’s “looking forward to what’s to come,” and yes, she wants to live in the White House. “I was joking with him, [saying] ‘You’re gonna have to make it to a second term,’ because he loves redecorating. So I was like, ‘You’re gonna have to redo the whole white house and were not gonna be able to enjoy it so were gonna have to just go with the flow.”
Alright, can we just say that we’d love to see how Kimye redecordate the White House? Seriously, though. HollywoodLife.com told you previously that Kim thought his speech at the VMAs was “epic.” If our husband dropped a bomb without telling us, we’d be wondering why he didn’t say anything, but we love that Kim is standing behind her man! She is the future first lady, so she better get used to it.
