Kylie Jenner, 18, may have gone lighter with her hair ahead of the fall season, but she’s sticking to darker hues when it comes to her nail polish. Switching out her soft pastels, poppy neons and full-on glitter looks, Kylie went with a surprisingly toned-down, neutral shade for her latest manicure.
Recreating Kylie’s bleach blonde hair or oversized lips may not be within your beauty terrain, but you can certainly try out her dark gray manicure no matter what your beauty level of expertise. Kylie shared a picture of her and friend Heather Sanders’ nails to her Instagram, thanks to the Beverly Hills-based Nail Bar & Beauty Lounge.
While Heather went for a high-shine finish, judging from the Cartier bracelets, Kylie opted for a matte look. No matter which finish you like, start your manicure with your usual base coat to avoid staining your nails. Next, apply two coats of a rich gray shade like Smith & Cult Nail Lacquer in Stockholm Syndrome. Once your polish has dried, you can quickly make it matte with a coat of OPI Matte Top Coat.
