Who said walking in heels was easy?! Betty Cantrell, Miss Georgia, was walking down the slick runway during the Miss America Pageant, when she tripped twice on her long, white ball gown. Yikes! We can only imagine her nerves and we feel so bad for her!
Miss Georgia was walking down the catwalk during the evening wear portion of the competition when she stumbled. It wasn’t too bad but it happened twice and everyone watching took notice.
Luckily for Miss Georgia, she actually has already won the talent portion which the contestants performed the week before too. She won for her rendition of the song, “Tu Tu Piccolo Iddio” fromPuccini’s Madame Butterfly.
