The promise by President Muhammadu Buhari to appoint ministers in September still stands, the presidency has said.
Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media, Mallam Garba Shehu who spoke on Friday said that the President should be given till, latest, September 30 for the Federal Executive Council to be in place.
Shehu when asked how soon the nation should expect the appointments, said “he [the president] decides but Nigerians should expect ministers this month as promised by the president. We are doing it. I believe the president should be given the benefit of up to the 30th of September.”
