Why Caitlyn Jenner family missed the Ceremony?

During the emotional finale of ‘I Am Cait,’ Caitlyn Jenner held a renaming ceremony. She affirmed her identity among close friends and loved ones — but Cait’s family wasn’t there! DGossip247 has the exclusive scoop why the Kardashians and Jenners did learned why, among the attendees, not a single Kardashian or Jenner could be found!

Caitlyn’s ceremony took place on July 23, and it was filmed for the Sept. 13 finale for I Am Cait, reports Huffington Post. Though there were plenty of guests, Caitlyn’s family was visibly absent from the event and that was actually by Caitlyn’s design!

“The naming ceremony was intended for Caitlyn and her new transgender family,” a source  tells DGossip247. “It was just too complicated picking a date that would be convenient for all of the kids, so it made more sense, camera wise, to have none of them there.”

It seems like Caitlyn didn’t want it to look like she was playing favorites. If all of her kids couldn’t be there, she didn’t want any of them to attend. “Everyone has schedules that are all over the place that it never would have worked to get everyone together at the right time,” a second insider DGossip247 tells DGossip247. “It wasn’t a diss, it just was better to have none of the family there instead of some so nobody was upset from being omitted in the celebration.”

The service was conducted by Allyson Dylan Robinson, a transgender pastor, and Cait’s friend,Jenny Boylan, read the e.e. Cummings poem, “i thank You God for most this amazing,” reports People. Boy George even made a special musical appearance. How sweet!

Though the televised ceremony took place in July, Caitlyn has not held a second, separate naming ceremony, the source tells DGossip247, adding that “most likely, there won’t be.” In this case, the second source confirms that, “it’s one and done,” and Caitlyn is moving on with her new, exciting life.
