After Taylor Swift, 25, included wild animals in her “Wildest Dreams” music video, members of the Columbus Zoo staff were inspired to make their own version of the video. But they didn’t do it just for fun — the video is an attempt to get Taylor to stop by the zoo when her 1989 World Tour hits Ohio on Sept. 17 and 18! There may be no Scott Eastwood in this one, but we have to say, the zoo’s parody is a perfect plea!
Although the video is only about a minute long, the zoo staff managed to parody just about every detail of “Wildest Dreams,” except for the romance. The five ladies in the vid sport red lipstick like Taylor’s, dance around a vintage plane, and pose in front of lions and giraffes. One staff member even imitates Tay’s flowing dress with a bed sheet. Sound wildly funny? See for yourself!
As if the video isn’t perfect enough, Columbus Zoo’s celeb “Jungle” Jack Hanna even made an appearance to make his own plea! “I’ve been here for 37 years. Would you please come here so these girls would finally stop? For goodness sakes!” he says to Taylor. “I know you were in Africa doing one of your songs — it was spectacular, by the way — but here at the Columbus Zoo, you’re going to love this place. You really are.”
