
Kashim Shettima, the governor of Borno state, personally visited victims of the Maiduguri bombing carried out by suspected Boko Haram members and inspected the site of the terrorist attack.
Borno state governor Kashim Shettima and Muhammadu Sidi, the director-general of the National emergency management agency, on Friday personally attended the state specialist hospital in the Borno state capital to console the victims of the deadly Maiduguri bombing.

Kashim Shettima visited the victims after they were transported from the scene to the Maiduguri state specialist hospital and were given required medical treatment.

Shettima, Sidi and other government officials also inspected the scene of Molai bomb explosion to assess the damages of another Maiduguri bombing and discuss the counter-terrorist measures.
This particular attack came 24 hours after a similar attack on mosques in Mulai in Maiduguri, where over 26 people were confirmed dead.
