Stephanie and Brian Tobe from San Diego planned to have a decent wedding ceremony last weekend. They were to celebrate their special occasion at Torrey Pines Golf Course with family and friends.
And there was a moment when Stephanie and Brian looked out of a hotel room’s window and saw… THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES! Barack Obama was just having a great time that day playing golf on the field.
It goes without saying, that the couple couldn’t just stand there and watch him from afar. They ran down to the wedding crasher of anybody’s dream! “Stephanie sprinted in her navy blue Nina heels and Monique Lhuillier gown,” explained photographer Erin Youngren in a blog post. “When I was running up to him, I just started crying,” commented the bride. “I was in a state of complete shock.”
President Obama happened to be quite delighted with the new state of affairs in the middle of his golfing day. He generously posed for photos and even gave the bride and the groom a piece of advice.
“He specifically told my husband, Brian, not to step on my dress,” Stephanie told NBC San Diego. “Honestly, I’m normally a pretty shy person, but man, yesterday, for the wedding day and in that moment, I didn’t care about anything.”
