According to reports, doctors have advised that if Lamar does survive, it is unlikely that he will lead a normal life
Lamar Odom's family and friends have been warned the former NBA star has a "50/50 chance of survival".
According to reports, doctors have advised that if Lamar does survive, it is unlikely that he will lead a normal life.
US gossip site TMZ reports one source as saying Khloe Kardashian's former husband is "in dire straits" and has shown "absolutely no improvement" since he was admitted to hospital on Tuesday.
The former basketball star was found unconscious at a brothel in Nevada earlier this week and remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Earlier reports suggested Lamar was showing small signs of improvement and had even squeezed his former sister-in-law Kim Kardashian's hand.
The Kardashian family are thought to have flown in a number of specialists to the Las Vegas hospital where he is being treated to consult with doctors.
Meanwhile, Lamar's children Destiny, 17, and Lamar Jr, 13, have asked for "prayers".
Destiny and Lamar arrived with their mother Liza Morales in Las Vegas on Wednesday and have been at their father's bedside ever since.
