A father-of-two killed his pregnant wife after repeatedly stabbing her to the chest, back and abdomen in June this year in Manningham, Bradford, England, UK.
Tariq Khan brutally attacked his wife Nadia, while their two children, aged three and five, were in the house. The man intentionally stabbed her to the abdomen, killing the baby son he knew she was carrying.
Tariq Khan launched the attack at their home in Manningham, Bradford, UK
Then he locked the children in the house where their dead mother with a knife in her chest was lying and fled the scene. Nadia was 17 when and Khan was 19 when they tied the knot in an arranged marriage.

Three months later he assaulted her and Nadia reported an incident to the police. A Domestic Violence Protection Order lasting a month was issued. A month before the murder, Khan attacked Nadia again and after arrest he was given bail with a condition not to contact his wife or go within 100 metres of her home.
And although he pleaded guilty to murder, child destruction, and an earlier assault on his wife, he suggested that she was the first who had picked up the kitchen knife. Khan was today sentenced for life and would spend a minimum of 24 years and 247 days in prison.
