Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has been reported ill ahead of the CHAN 2016 qualifier against Burkina Faso.
Oliseh guided the Eagles to a resounding 3 – 0 victory over Cameroon on Sunday, October 11 but will miss the home-based Eagles clash against the West African nation due to an unspecified illness.
According to sportinglife.com, Olised will not take charge of Saturday’s clash against Burkina Faso.
Oliseh was given the go-ahead by the NFF to visit a doctor in Belgium after a meeting with the governing body’s president, Amaju Pinnick.
When contacted, Sanusi refused to reveal details of Oliseh’s e-mail report. He said Amaju Pinnick should be contacted to give more details.
In a related development, a former member of the executive committee of the NFF, Senator Obinna Ogba says coach Oliseh was saved from press and fan criticism after the 3-0 win over Cameroon.
The Senator also urged Oliseh to beg Vincent Enyeama to overturn his retirement.
