A foolish kidnapper had been arrested after he dropped off a ransom note and left his phone numbers boldly written on the letter at Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State. The phone number was later used to trace and arrest him.
The suspect, Sampson Elelegwu was expecting a ransom to be paid to him; rather, the police paid him a surprised visit. The arrest of the suspect was facilitated by operatives attached to Special Anti-Kidnapping Squad, at the command headquarters, Asaba.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Celestina Kalu, said the squad swung into action, trailed the said Elelegwu with the phone numbers, 08064724929, and arrested him
