An uncompleted building collapsed on Saturday in Benin City, Edo State killing one person, while three other persons sustained various degrees of injuries in the incident. It was gathered that the building located on Sapele Road came down at about 10:30 a.m when builders were pouring concrete on the projection beam on the third floor.
The builders were said to have dropped from the third floor to the ground when the structure collapsed.
The deceased person, who was simply identified as Mike, was said to have sustained a deep cut in his chest. He was reportedly taken to the Benin Central Hospital, where he died.
