Bukola Saraki announces release of National Assembly budget

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki on Sunday announced he would release the 2016 National Assembly Budget.

In a statement on Sunday Mr. Saraki’s spokesperson, Bamikole Omishore stated that the release of the budget was intended to combat the “falsehoods” spread by the media.

When speaking to the media Mr. Saraki himself noted that the decision was part of, “the openness we promised”.
