National Intergrated Master Plan will reduce unemployment – NSE President

The Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE) Monday blamed the decayed infrastructures in different parts of the country on the inability of the Federal government to meet its national economic target.
The NSE President, Mr Ademola Olorunfemi who disclosed this at a press conference to herald the Annual General Conference of the body said the present deplorable condition of the infrastructures has made the country lose large scale investments to neighbouring countries with attendance job loss.

Consequently, Olorunfemi said the body of engineers in the country considered as very pragmatic, the decision of the Federal government through the National Planning Commission to introduce the National Integrated Infrastructure Master Plan (NIIMP) which is aimed at raising the stock of infrastructure in Nigeria.
Olorunfemi said the 2015 Engineering Conference which is holding in Akure, the Ondo State capital is tailored towards exhausting all issues surrounding infrastructure in Nigeria.
