The suit alleges Josh "assaulted her to the point of causing her physical and emotional injuries."
People magazine reports adult film star Danica Dillon has filed a $500,000 lawsuit against Josh Duggar alleging he violently assaulted her during a night of consensual sex.
According to the lawsuit filed on Tuesday by Dillon (whose real name is Ashley Stamm-Northup), Duggar allegedly "assaulted her to the point of causing her physical and emotional injuries." US Weekly reports the lawsuit states Duggar met Dillon a Philadelphia club where he paid her $600 for lap dances. Dillon's lawsuit also states she agreed to have sex with Duggar at his hotel room for $1500.
Dillon's attorney told People "while sex may be consensual, an assault and battery is clearly beyond the scope of any consent."
In August, Duggar checked into a faith-based rehab after it was made public that the married father and former Family Research Council executive director had an Ashley Madison account and an OK Cupid account. Dillon's lawyers told People the case could be delayed because Duggar is reportedly still in that rehab program.
According to People, a representative for the Duggar family declined to comment.
