This is the typical Adele fan

​The New York Times has an article about Adele and how she's not your typical pop starlet. In this age of social media mania, Adele is pretty quiet on that front. The 27-year-old mom is typically quiet and that makes her an anomaly in a day and age when you need an Internet presence to sell things. You know, things like albums. Well, except if you're Adele: She's breaking records left and right on that front and barely has to make a peep. (Except when she's sings and it murders our feelings.)

And who's making Adele a success? Well, it's us ladies with all our ~eMoTiOnS~. According to Nielsen, it's college-educated women aged 25 to 44, who watch "Family Guy" on TV, and shop at Target, Victoria's Secret, and Bath & Body Works.​

So, shit. That's exactly me. Adele, girl, you've me pegged. Here, take all my money!

As for the rest of my Adele fans, should we form a support group? Let's rent a mini van, park it on the side of a road, and sob together.
