A group, Arigidi Akoko Leaders of Thought (AKLOT), yesterday called on Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State and the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, to ensure that the peace and tranquillity in Arigidi Akoko is not disrupted by those it described as “enemies of the state”.
Its Chairman, Chief Owadokun Lawson and Secretary, Chief Bola Olutayo, said in a statement that the said people had decided to make the Arigidi Akoko community “ungovernable” for the Zaki of Arigidi, Oba Yisa Olanipekun. They alleged that a cleric alongside his agents had vowed to frustrate Olanipekun’s rein by ensuring that no meaningful development came to the community.
