This flash-forward thing is really bringing the drama.
The Pretty Little Liars bombshells just keep on coming as the season-six winter premiere approaches and thrusts the Liars into a mysterious world five years in the future. Hanna won't be with Caleb anymore and will instead be engaged to this guy. The show may end after season seven, or it may not. Now Variety reports that the show has cast an actress for the role of Yvonne, who plays a "very important part" in Toby's life. Yvonne will be played by Kara Royster (inset above), who's also had parts on Scream Queens, Faking It, and Hand of God. According to Variety, Yvonne is "smart, sleek and classy," and will appear in three episodes.
Variety also notes that Yvonne is not explicitly described as a "love interest," but based on everything that's already out there about this new half-season, it's clear she'll be causing some drama. Marlene King also said in an interview that Toby would be "extremely involved" with someone who isn't Spencer, though she didn't specify who that might be. Why are you doing this, Yvonne/mystery person?! Is it because Spoby sounds too much like the thing you use to start your own at-home kombucha brew? Because that's petty.
