University of Ibadan has asked about 97 students in its institution to withdraw, due to poor academic performances.
The withdrawal touches on seven faculties in the institution, and according to the bulletin, which was signed by the Registrar, Olujimi Olukoya, the affected students, failed to obtain the minimum academic requirements at the end of the 2014/15 session.
It states, “Senate at its meeting approved that the candidates whose names appear on this list should withdraw from the University for failure to obtain the minimum academic requirements at the end of 2014/2015 session.”
Three of the students are reported to have voluntarily withdrawn themselves form the institution.
