The Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, Alhaji Ali Danmaraya, has died.
Aged 73, Danmaraya died at his home yesterday morning after a brief illness.
He was buried according to Islamic rites at the Farm Centre Cemetery in Tarauni Local Government.
The funeral prayer was attended by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, his deputy, Prof. Hafizu Abubakar, among others.
Briefing reporters after the burial, Ganduje described the deceased as a hard working and dedicated member.
He said APC would miss him because of his leadership qualities and kindness to the people.
