Renowned lawyer and human rights activist, Femi Falana (SAN), Thursday warned that the current anti-graft campaign by President Muhammadu Buhari may become effort in futility after all.
Falana said Nigeria’s criminal justice system had already been hijacked by looters of the treasury and their lawyers with the alleged intention to frustrate the anti-corruption war.
He spoke at the special congress and public lecture organised by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye chapter.
Falana, who was guest speaker at the event which also had the ASUU President, Isa Fagge, in attendance, called for urgent review of the nation’s criminal justice system to make it more effective in fighting corruption.
