The Bill for an Act to establish the Nigerian Peace Corps (NPC) to train, educate and re-orient the youths of this nation, particularly students, to facilitate Peace and Youth Development and for other related matters be read the Second Time by Senator Muhammed A. Ndume (Borno South);, Bill accordingly read the Second Time and referred to the Committee on Interior to report within Four (4) weeks.
After referred to the Committee on Interior to report within Four (4) weeks, the Committee held the Public hearing for an Act to Establish the Nigerian Peace Corps yesterday 13th April, 2016.
Speculations was high during the exercise but the public hearing at last fell in favour of Nigerian Peace Corps and there are jubilations and celebrations everywhere at the National Headquarters of the Nigerian Peace Corps
