A ten-year-old boy in Amasiri, Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Victor Agha has allegedly been defiled by a 35-year-old man, Stephen Ude of Amuzu community, Amasiri.
The victim, who hails from Amuzu Ezeke in the area, was defiled in the farm. Agha followed the suspect to his farm when the incident occurred.
A source from the boy’s family said when he returned from the farm in the evening, Agha looked very weak and sick prompting the father to ask what happened to him and he told the father that Stephen Ude had sex with him through his anus.
“The father of the boy, Pius Agha Idam, immediately rushed him to the hospital and reported the matter to the police,” the source said.
When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer ASP George Okafor, who confirmed the incident, said the suspect has been arrested.
