After reports in the papers that Alex Iwobi has agreed a new five-year deal with Arsenal, ‘Sky Sport’ has investigated the report and discovered that the contract is not yet finalised.
Talks are continuing between the 19-year-old and the club over a long-term deal though.
It was reported in several newspapers this morning that Iwobi had agreed a new five-year deal with Arsenal worth £30,000 a week. The 19-year-old’s current contract expires in October 2019
The academy product has started four of the last five games and scored against Everton and Watford.
