Stakeholders in Edda West Development Centre in Afikpo South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State yesterday gave cult members and drug peddlers in the area one-month ultimatum to desist from the acts or be banished for seven years. At their emergency security meeting, the stakeholders frowned on the increasing cases of cult activities and other violent crimes in the area.
Azuenya, who condemned the activities of some politicians in promoting cultism in the area, said the people would devise traditional means of dealing with insecurity and other violent crimes.
