It is not news to majority that the Nigeria Senate Committee on Interior held the Public Hearing for an Act to Establish Nigerian Peace Corps today 20th April, 2016 at Conference Hall 002, Senate New Building, National Assembly Complex in Abuja.
During the hearing, Amb. (Dr) Dickson A.O. Akoh set out an idea rolling and the National Assembly have not only bought the idea but have also witnessed first hand, his ingenuity and highly structured organization.
He said:
Anyone who denies economic freedom for the youth is not worthy of an ounce of grain and according to Scott Belsky, 'It’s not about ideas but about making the ideas happen.' We have every reason to celebrate as both Public Hearings at the House of Representatives and Senate have come and gone with good successes.
