Lekan Shonde, the husband and alleged killer of ex-banker, Kemi Shonde, has surrendered to the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command in Lagos.
Police sources said he had contemplated suicide before he finally surrendered to the police.
He thereafter fled home with her phone, leaving their two little children behind.
Neighbours were said to have discovered the lady’s body in the house as well as the children.
Incidentally, in an interview he granted a national newspaper, Lekan had boasted that as a “Lagos boy” he could remain in the city “for 30 years without being caught”.
