Justice Abdulazeez Anka of a Federal High Court in Lagos yesterday ordered that two persons, Joy Kenneth and Albert Eze, be remanded in prison custody for allegedly engaging in human trafficking. The two men were arraigned before the court by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Traffic in Persons and Other Related Matters (NAPTIP), on a four-count charge bordering on human trafficking.
In the charge, the two men were alleged to have conspired in December 2015 to procure travelling documents for a 19-yearold girl to Dubai for purposes of prostitution. The first accused (Kenneth), who resides at No 15 Divine Victory Street, Alagbado Lagos, was said to have on December 4, 2015, at No 55, Unity Street, off AIT Road in Lagos, assisted Endurance, who is now at large, to procure the documents.
