Giwa Arrested At NFF Office

Club owner, Chris Giwa, was on Friday arrested at the premises of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Secretariat in Abuja.
Giwa was arrested by the police as he was at the secretariat with some of his group members in an attempt to take over the NFF operations.
He had sneaked in unnoticed by the security men and he went round some of the offices at the secretariat.

On his way out, however, the football administrator it was learnt told the security operatives at the Glass House that he was at the NFF to resume as the President of the federation.
“He (Giwa) did not come here to fight. He has been arrested and we do not know what next,” said Jide Fashikun, one of those who followed Giwa to the Glass House. Rumson Baribote was also at the secretariat with Giwa.
