Herdsmen Killings: S’East APC Caucus Delighted With Govs’ Visit

The South East Caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Wednesday expressed happiness over the solidarity and condolence visit to Enugu by the All Progressives Congress Governors Forum.

The progressives’ governors were in Enugu on Tuesday to console the government and people of the state over the Ukpabi Nimbo tragedy.

A press release signed by spokesman of the caucus and made available to New Telegraph in Enugu said the governors’ visit was “the soothing balm needed most urgently at this temptous moment of grieve, despair and despondency.”

“More so, when ethnic merchants, have quickly latched on the unfortunate recurring altercation nationwide between herdsmen pastoralists and farmers, for the ignoble objective to further promote hate, division and widen the fault lines.

The cause expressed satisfaction with the “candour speech” of the Forum, as eloquently delivered by their chairman, Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
