The Management of the System Operation/Market Operation of the Transmission Company of Nigeria, (TCN), Tuesday stated that the electricity power on the national grid has dropped to 1400 megawatts.
As at last year May the country was having no less than 4000 megawatts of electricity on the national grid.
However, the statement revealed that all stakeholders are working assiduously to achieve improvements in the power supply deliverables.
Expressing concern on the drop on national grid, the management stated: “The attendant inconvenience as a result of low power generation is regretted”.
