Resign Now, Okorie Tells Buhari

The Chairman House Committee on Colleges of Agriculture in the House of Representatives, Hon. Linus Okorie Tuesday urged President Muhammadu Buhari to resign for removing petroleum subsidy and increasing the pump price of fuel.

Okorie said President Buhari had promised Nigerians severally that he will not remove fuel subsidy and will not increase the pump price only to make a u-turn, describing the President as an “insincere person”.

Okorie spoke to reporters during his empowerment programme of 3,000 selected farmers of his Ohaozara/Onicha/Ivo federal constituents held at Ishiagu Civic Centre in Ivo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

“President Muhammadu Buhari should resign from office forth with not because he increased pump price of petroleum or increased pump price of which the product is costing high but because he has lost integrity upon which only he was elected.”
