Suspect Arrested, Treating Gunshot Wounds

A 33-year-old man, Sunday James, described as a serial killer who escaped with gun wounds from Akwa-Ibom State, was arrested in Lagos yesterday.

It was gathered that the James was arrested by policemen attached to Ajangbadi Police Division where he was receiving treatment at No. 113, Orisha Imuda Street, from the gunshot wounds.

The suspect was said to be treating the gunshot wounds in his private part at the clinic when the policemen picked him up.

James reportedly confessed to the police that he sustained the wounds during one of his exploits in Akwa Ibom State. He, however, relocated to Lagos for treatment because of the critical nature of the wounds on his testis.

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Dolapo Badmos, said the command would extend its investigations to Akwa Ibom State Police Command.
