4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.

5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

MESSAGE

The Almighty God wants us to walk in perfection before Him. Enoch walked with God in his generation. Noah also walked with God at a time when almost the entire world forsook their Maker. It was a period like the time we are in now, when there is a high level of moral degradation in humanity. We have refused to retain God in our knowledge, and this is why you can see things getting out of order in every part of the world.

Men have digressed into habitual sin, when God originally created us to walk after the spiritual image of Himself. We are in a world where the interest in spiritual things is getting low and people have become ephemeral in their focus. There is so much rebellion against the kingdom of God, yet God wants to preserve His own and He expects that we walk before Him in perfection.

Everything you have gone through till this very moment is part of the plan of the Almighty God for your life. There is nobody that is born without a purpose. You need to know the purpose of your existence in God if you want that purpose to be fulfilled. Abraham was ninety years old before God appeared to him again. I once asked the Almighty God why He allowed me to waste twenty seven years studying mathematics when I would eventually become a pastor at the end of the day.

The Lord told me that it is simply for the purpose of being able to preach mathematically. It therefore dawned on me that all things work together for good to those that love the Lord. You need to find out why God sent you to this world and the reason you are still alive despite all that you have passed through. Paul the Apostle was a lawyer and a tent maker, and the Lord used him mightily to defend the course of the gospel he once destroyed. He became a defender of the faith he once attacked. He preached the gospel he once destroyed. He became a defender of the faith he once attacked.

He preached the gospel of Jesus Christ with so much authority and commitment. Even after he had wasted so much time in ignorance for the devil, he still became a mighty instrument doing exploits for the Lord. Your being alive today is testimony; God wants to show Himself as Almighty in your life. He wants to establish a covenant with you so that your future will find fulfilment in Him. But the condition is that you must walk before Him and be perfect. A life that is not lived in the light of God’s purpose will be lived to actualize the purpose of the devil. There is so much potential for those who walk with God. If you are born again and living holy, the anointing and power to do great things becomes released into your life. Your name will be changed to reflect the very essence of God.

Key Point: If you follow God, greatness will follow you.
