Updated: Senate Committee On Interior Lays The Reports Of Nigeria Peace Corps - Photos

Senate Committee on Interior laid report on the Public Hearing conducted on a Bill for an Act to establish the Nigerian Peace Corps and submits same in the Plenary of the Nigerian Senate today.

Ninety-five per cent (95%) of the 287 Memoranda submitted, and those who made oral presentation, supported the establishment of the Nigerian Peace Corps.

The Senate Committee on Interior therefore recommends the passage of the Bill.

The Senate passed the Bill of Railway 2016 and Senate President, Bukola Saraki adjourned the plenary till Tuesday, 13th September, 2016 as they go on their annual break.
